It's been awhile so be prepared

My daredevil

Addisyn the dog. She tried to drink from the dog bowl so we got her own.

Cambry loves the bouncy tent.

Her animals have to eat to don't you know. She is so silly

They love to eat together.

We finally found a Wii Fit and Addisyn loves it.

Cute little Cambry loves Addisyn's chair

So I warned you there were a lot. I just love the all. We have been doing pretty good over here. Cambry has not more ear infection which is great. We have been having amazing weather and have been walking our dogs which they love and the girls love too. Playing outside and going to the park. Yes these are the days that I have always dreamed of.
You may have noticed Brady wearing glasses. He is getting LASIK is a few weeks. I am so excited for him. He used to wear his contacts for like 3 months straight yes months.
As for Addisyn, she is such a ham. We had a Super Bowl party over here last night and Addisyn just loves men. She would go and snuggle with all the men and sit on there laps and talk to them. Not one lady. That is so strange to me. I don't know maybe all kids are like that. It is so funny though. She is also really into playing with ponies, dolls, hands, anything and going up and saying, "What's your name? Oh I like your shoes, hair, skin, etc." It is really funny and cute. She could do that all day long. Us on the hand. I love hearing Brady saying "Oh thanks, I love your shoes."
Cambry is just thriving in speach and motor skills and growing hair. She is starting to figure out different toys and knows that the phone goes to your ear and what not. She is also so great at church. We are there on Friday, Saturday and Sunday most weeks and everytime they say she gets the happy baby award. She loves it there. Never cries when we leave.
That is it for now. Girls are wanting to play!!!!

Have to do everything together

Loves to pull down the books

Whether you like it or not, today is the day for Obama to take office. We had such a great church service this weekend. Because it all said and done and all we can do is pray for our new President to make wise choices for our country and help us with this disaster we currently have going on. People are losing jobs left and right(thank goodness our boss is my father in law), wars with people having to leave their families for an extended period of time and losing their lives, the huge amount of debt we are in as a country. Just to name a few, I am sure you all know the rest.
My point is lets just pray for Obama to be a great listener from God, hope he makes the right choices for our country.
On other news, I added a few pics of my girls. We have been having potty training issues over here. Addisyn had a lot of accidents yesterday. Ugh and I just was raving about her. That's ok. Doing better today. Cambry was up last night vomiting and I was up with a sore throat and stuffy nose. Fun times.
Go Obama or as Addisyn says Go Mama. LOL

Update

So Addisyn is potty trained. She wears a diaper at night and naptime but most of the time when she wakes up it is dry. We went to the dr this morning and MOPS and she told the teacher she had to go and no accidents that whole 2 and 1/2 hours. Great job Addisyn.

Cambry had her 9 month check-up today and weighted in at a whopping 18 lbs 8 ounces. She was 26 1/2 inches long . So she was 50% for weight, 25% for length and 50% for head. Pretty good. She had gained 2 pounds since the last time we were there and she had lost 1/2 pound and scared me. So she is doing great. Except both kids had a double ear infection. Cambry's one ear was really bad and Addisyn's were just infected but not too bad since she did not tell me. So anti-botics here we come.

They are doing great though. I am so proud of Addisyn and can not believe how easy it was to potty train her.

Have a great weekend and stay warm!!!

Potty Training Central

"Mom Seriously" face(note how she likes to have all the ponies watch her)

Her Cute Little Back Side

Enjoying Cake after her 1st time to go on the potty

We are going strong over here potty training. We started Saturday afternoon since I finally found My Little Pony underwear. She told me when we got them for her she would wear them. Did I believe her, kind of! You just never know. So I finally found some on Saturday afternoon and when we got home she wanted to put them on. We went through all 3 in 30 minutes. So when we got home from Church that night we tried again and she went a couple of times on the potty. I was putting her on every 10 minutes. Sunday she was better. She went on the potty about 10 times total from today and yesterday. I have no ideas if I am doing this completely right but who does. All I know is it is 11 AM and she has not had an accident. I am proud of my BIG GIRL.

So as I was typing this, we just had a break through. She just told me she had to go and really went. This is the 1st time. We are making progress.
Thanks to Kristen(on my blog roll) for the great potty seat and for telling me what she did with her girls.
Thanks to Bre'anna(on my blog roll too) for motivating me. She is potty training her 14 month old. Truly amazing.

Cambry turns 9 months old

My typical monthly photo with my elephant

My sister loves to hold my hand

Loving my sister

Loving Bathtime
Eating Banana
Little pig tails

My sweet little pea turned 9 months today. This was a big month for us. Cambry started a lot of tricks:
*Eating solid foods(peas, watermelon,rolls,goldfish, cheerios,baby chese puffs,strawberries,bananas, corn)
*Standing alone
*Waving
*Saying MaMa
*Clapping
*Playing with friends(Cora who is 11 days older)
*Walking behind a push toy
*Little piggy tails
I write these down to also remind me.
She is just a super amazing sweet girl. She is for the most part pretty happy. She loves to watch Addisyn still and wants to play and do what she does all the time. Pretty typical I am sure.
I am thinking the next time I post for 10 months she will be walking. We go to the dr. sometime this week or next. I will let you know what they say and how they are doing. For the most part her hemangioma is gone. I do not ever see it. It is there but barely. I am so excited. I look back and remember how scared and fearful I was of how it was going to grow but I should have just left it to God(which I eventally did after worrying myself half to death) and it turned out perfect. I thank him everyday for that blessing.

Christmas 2008

We had a wonderful, busy, exciting Christmas. I think Cambry had a great first Christmas. Addisyn had a wonderful Christmas and her favorite present was having her cousins in town. She loves them so much and they adore her. It is truly a sight to see.
Happy New Year. May it be blessed and wonderful.

Christmas Events

We have been enjoying all the Christmas Events. Here are a few of the things we are doing. In case you live in San Antonio or gives you ideas for where you live. We went to a Stone Oak Festival where they had 40,000 lbs of snow. It was kind of cool. The closest we have ever seen to snow. There they had rides and a horse drawn carriage ride that of course Addisyn loved and when it was over we had to leave cause she just wanted to do that over and over. We also went to a Nutcracker play at the Magik Children's Theater. It was a hit. I was a bit nervous but all the kids loved it. Even an 18 month old. We were in the 2nd row and so close to all the action. It was not your normal nutcracker. It was very funny.
We also went to Bass Pro Shop where they have a very organized free photo with Santa. You think free and you think Crazy but wow, they were so organized and gave you number cards so you were not waiting in line forever. They also had different activites on the weekend. We went and they had decorating cookies. They also had a remote control car you could drive, shooting range and of course that store is just cool to walk around in the 1st place. It was a great time. We did not get a picture of Addisyn on Santa this year. She is not a fan of him this year. She does know he is going to bring her Rainbow Dash.
We also went Caroling at a nursing home and that was so much fun. They were so sweet and loved to see our girls. Addisyn loves to sing, "We wish you a Merry Christmas". I hope to do it again next year.
I had MOPS and that is more for me but it makes me really want to make sure my girls know the real meaning of Christmas. With all the presents involved I really want them to know it is to celebrate Jesus's birthday 1st and far most. I think Addisyn grasps that concept. We have been on a tight budget this year with Brady being in the construstion field but we made sure to make it a point to give to some families we adopted cause although it has been tight, it is so more important to give then to receive and we are blessed with what we have.
We also went downtown to this wonderful new hotel they build and had storytime with Santa. Addisyn was scared of Santa there too but Cambry took a picture on his lap.
We are going to hit up Sea World on Wedsnday and then we have Brady's sister in town so we are always busy then. I am just so blessed to stay at home and do these fun activites with my girls.

I want Candy

The girls got to do Gingerbread houses with their GeeGa. They had a great time. Addisyn would eat 5 and put on her house. Let's just say she did not eat that much at dinner. They had a great time though.

8 Months

My little "sweet pea" as her Grandad calls her turned 8 months. She is such a big girl. She is walking behind push toys and pulling up and cruising everywhere. We went to a playdate yesterday and she was pulling up and if you would see the look on her face, she was so proud of herself. She really thought she was hanging with all the big kids. She was too excited to nap and the second we got in the car she passed out with in 15 seconds. We will not tell the big kids, it will ruin her image. J/K She found this one toy over at our friends house and she knew this was the one toy that she could pull up and push and it would not tip over. She is already figuring these things out.
She had been doing great at night and sleeping from 8-3or 4 but the last 2 nights she went back to her old ways and is getting up every 3 hours. I can't wait til that part is over.
She is of course in love with her sister, even though sissy will push her away and not always share(we are working on that)she always comes back for more.
Cambry is eating "real" food or some of what we eat. She was not digging the baby food so much so after she eats 1/2 jar I give her some of what we are having and she loves that.
What a wonderful 8 months!!!
