Addisyn got an art easel for her birthday and she is doing so well at her drawing. She loves to draw and so does Cambry. They only like markers though. I guess cause they are bright! Anyway, she is doing very well. Now if we can only get her letters down.

Somehow or another, she decided that she wanted play. She is doing so well. We went to practice last Wednesday and she practiced and then we had a game on Saturday and a make up on Sunday and she played in both. I am so proud of her. She may not be the best but hey she is on the field and running and trying. She even kicked the ball a few times.
Cambry turned 18 months old yesterday. To be honest with you, I was just happened to look at the date and realized, oh my, today is your 18 month birthday. With Addisyn, I had it marked down and we celebrated.
Well about my sweet my little girl, I included a video of all the words she can say, well not all but the ones I could think of at the time. She really does talk a lot. She wants to be just like Addisyn. I will give them both their cups to drink and as soon as Addisyn is done and says, here mom. Cambry does the exact same, here mom and she is not even done but if Addisyn is done then she is done. If Addisyn has a stuffed dog, then she has a stuffed dog under her arm too. It is really what I had envisioned. They are started to be such great friends. I do not mind her copying Addisyn, Addisyn is so well mannered and eager to please.
Cambry's favorite word is no. I mean like when they watch Dora and she asked for help Cambry always says no. There is only like one time in the show when "No" is the correct answer which is why I think she started it but now she says it all the time. I will ask her if she wants a snack and she replys no when she means yes. So she is not saying it to be rude, just likes to say no.
She is really into baby dolls. Addisyn was more of an animal, stuffed animal girl but Cambry loves her babies and kisses them and loves to push them in the stroller.
Our neighborhood girls that are like in 1st grade just love Cambry. I think they think she is a live doll. They all want to play with her. I feel a bit bad for Addisyn, they other day we showed up and Cambry was still asleep and they were so excited for Cambry and then she was not there and we were like but here is Addi and they just kind of walked off. Not like Addisyn does not get enough attention for everyone else!
She is still getting her ear infections. I just never even know she has them cause she is a tough girl. I only know that is she has any type of drainage then there will be an infection in our near future.
She will probably be our kid that is a bit more opinionated. Which will keep us on our toes. She likes to be climbing and jumping and can never sit still. She is very different then Addisyn in that manner. As Addisyn got older she did calm down so I am kind of hoping that for Cambry.
But she is so perfect for our famlily. I could have not picked a better fit for our family. God sure does know what he is doing. I thank him everyday for our beautiful healthy girls and count my blessings!
Well the pumpkin patch got rained out but at the last minute I got an email saying they were till going to have it but inside. We got to paint a pumpkin, play with pumpkin spice play doh, weigh pumpkins, plant pumpkin seeds and just explore all the pumpkins. It was fun. My poor Cambry was not in the mood to do anything so she was a bit fussy which equals no pictures. I want to go to another pumpkin patch, we are going to Sea World for their fun Halloween activities and at Addisyn's school they are having a fall festival on Halloween night so I think we will do that. Addisyn is really into Halloween this year and it is fun.

Addisyn started AWANAS which is a program ran at churches and they basically teach them memory versus and they earn patches for the vest they earn. Addisyn had to say 4 versus to get the vest and she has earned one patch so far. She is doing so well. She s a young 3 in the class and the others are about to be 4 but she got them down perfect. We get to do story time and play outside, do crafts, and have a snack. It is 1 hour and 45 minutes long. Since she is only 3 , I have to stay with her so it is giving a Brady a chance to watch all the football he wants. So it is working out perfect. She is learning so much about God and his word, it is amazing. Last night Cambry was crying in bed and she yells out, "It's okay Cambry, God loves you!" Now if that does not melt your heart, I do not know what will.

We have been going to a couple of Uncle Cory's football games. Well actually to see Aunt Becca too. Cory is 18 and is a senior at Blanco HS. Becca is 14 and a freshman there. She is in the band and plays the trumpet and Cory is a starting linebacker. We have fun going out there and cheering on the panthers. We have to find our own section so that the girls can run like crazy!!!!

So I wish I could say that Addisyn had a wonderful first game. She scored all the goals, took turns nicely and just had the best time but it is the complete opposite of that. Well she did not even get on the field. She wanted nothing to do with it. She had a huge cheering section of 7 people just to see her and she was not having it. She cried and did not want to go. I was the worst and probably most annoying Mom and will not do it again but was bribing her to go and try it. They had a snowcone stand for kids who play soccer.(LOL) We have a better game plan for next time which includes Dad going over there with her on the sideline just asking her and if she says no, well hey there is always next time. No more pushing and bribing here. I can not believe I acted that way.
She did ok at practice but she still says she likes gymnastics, AWANAS and school better. She likes soccer better then napping though.:)
Anyway, I will let you all know how the next game goes.

Addisyn started pre-school last Wednesday and of course loved it. We tried to register last year but she was the 2nd one on the waiting list so everyday Addisyn would ask if she can go to school and we told her she had to pray and ask Jesus. He must have said yes cause in August the called and offered us a spot on Monday and Wednesday from 9-2. It is a very cute small Church north of town so away from all the crazy traffic and it just has a great feel to me. Her teacher Ms. Carol has been there for 10 years so she knows what she is doing. Anyway, today was her 2nd day and she is still loving it. We start soccer practice on Weds night and it is also a school day so I am interested to see how she hands all of it!!

Well I am now the mother of a 3 year old. A very eager to please 3 year old. She is very easy going, very smart and very sweet and loving. She is not too independent, she still likes her Mommy and Daddy to help her. She was 34 and 3/4 inches tall (10%) and 28 pounds (40%). She is going strong with being short. She will start school and soccer this fall. She is also doing Awanas at Church(like a bible school). She loves sweets like her Mommy. She loves her milk and juice water and will drink it all in like 2 minutes, I am talking 12-14 ounces. For those who do not know, after I finished nursing Addisyn(13 months) she liked to rub Brady's nipple. Very weird I know, she did not touch mine but that was their thing. Anyway, they made a deal when she turned 3 she was too big to do that. She talks about it and says now I am 3 no more "bobo". I feel bad cause it was her comfort thing but I know Brady is glad she is done. It was kind of strange and I write it down as this also serves as my memory!
She is the best big sister, Cambry can be the mean one to her and she is still just so loving. I think in the next 6 months, they will grow closer and Cambry will play better.
We are very blessed to have a wonderful healthy 3 year old.

Addisyn had her birthday party this weekend and it started off with going and getting her nails done with little flowers on her big toe. She got her finger nails painted too. Then we took a nap and were off to her gymnastics party. She had a great time showing off her tricks she can do and playing with all her friends. She had about 17 friends there to celebrate with her. She looks so big and grown up in her leotard. She made out like bandit with all her presents. We are very thankful for all her friends and family who were there to help her celebrate. We wish we had all our family here but know they love us just as much.
Tomorrow will be another fun filled day for our girl too. Stay tuned for those pics!!!

So over the summer the girls and I had the job of watching this sweet amazing 7 year old girl named Natalie. Her and Addisyn became best friends! It was so great for Addisyn to get to have Natalie to play with everyday and I think that Natalie really enjoyed Addisyn. I know Addisyn is going to be sad not to see her anymore. So for the last week before school started we had fun week, which included lots of swimming, Sea World, a couple of indoor play places! They had a great time and I was worn out by the end of the week! Natalie will be going to 2nd grade today and Addisyn will star pre-school on the 9th.
When the cousins were in town, Grandma wanted a photo shoot with all the family. She took so many and gave us a CD. Here are a few of my favorites. Addisyn was not feeling pictures that day. Cambry was tired. But thang goodness it was a cool morning and I meant cool compared to the heat we have had lately.
I get that question everytime we go out. I do dress them a like sometimes but even when I do not they still ask. I think it is the lack of hair and when they are sitting down it can be hard to tell. What do you think?

We had a great time down at Port Aransas. We had a great trip down to the beach with our family and then the cousins and grandparents. This was our little summer trip. Which was much needed by all. Everyone did great. 3 hours down to the beach we swam and jumped waves, built tons of sandcastles, and soaked up the sun. It was an amazing time. The cousin came down to help enjoy the beach. Addisyn has such a fun time with them. She is really warming up to Bradyn this trip. They are so great with them.
We got a new hermit crab. Named Chloe cause the shell has a girl painted on it that looked just like Chloe. So we now have 1 crab, 1 fish, 3 dogs, 2 kids and 2 parents in our house. Call us a zoo. Addisyn has this book that says, "If your house is a zoo, then I say lucky you." Very true over here.
So Cambry has been sleeping in her big girl bed for about 2 weeks now. She does great. The only bad part is nap time. She still naps in her pack and play but on Weds I watch a little boy over here and she sleeps in her room and she is one who wakes up in the middle of her nap and cries and then goes back to sleep. She then wakes up Addi and then everyone is up but still did not get their whole nap in. Oh well one day a week is not bad.
I have been trying t sew again. I made the girls zebra and pink dresses. The second one, Addisyn's was much better but I did not picture her in it yet. I will next time she wears it. Cambry's dress looks good from far but far from good up close.
Finally the cousins are here. 3 of Jodi's 6 are here. We have been having fun with them. We went to Sea World together bowling, played hours of hide and seek and they still have 1 and 1/2 weeks left to be here so it should be a lot of fun. That was the first time for my girls to bowl. They loved it. Cambry really did. Stay tuned for more pictures.
The room is almost done. I still have to hang the big butterflies from the ceiling and I am waiting for Cambry's name to come in and I might change the bedding. The shams that match it were disconitued and I feel like I really need them. So it might change a bit. But look at the cute fence Brady made. I think he did a great job.
